Neil Gaiman is the NEW YORK TIMES best-selling author of AMERICAN GODS and CORALINE. 评分看瞭奧德賽公會漢化版，封麵跟這個不一樣，而且是4冊。畫得非常漂亮，為書增色不少，女性人物就差點，女主角“星星”給畫得很胖。故事情節比較經典，是講一個少年為瞭青澀的愛外齣冒險，成長，返鄉，最後認識到自己真愛的故事。這樣仍嫌太普通瞭點，蓋曼順手又給安瞭個勛爵（相當於王子吧）的頭銜。故鄉“石牆村”隻是個起點，男主角返鄉還瞭願之後再也沒有停留，而是毅然返迴自己真正的歸屬“精靈仙境”繼續人生的大冒險。有種海賊王式的熱血。蓋曼似乎很喜歡安排死人吐槽，在《美國眾神》裏也這麼乾過，很有意思。這次沒有先看改編的電影，所以感覺比較好，不然如果電影拍得好的話估計看書就沒感覺瞭。
