Little Ellison just wants to sound like everyone else. With encouragement from Mom and playful coaxing from his imaginary friend, Weasel, Ellison finds his very own voice -a jazzy sound that charms and entertains all within earshot. Ellison's mom reminds us all that it's okay to be unusual. In fact, she explains, "All the greatest elephants in history were unusual - that's what made them great!" Kidwick’s trademark companion "Book-on-CD" features sound effects, kids playing the kids' roles, audible page turns, and original jazz music comprised solely of animal sounds (created by vocalists.) This lively dramatization is narrated by author Eric Drachman.
