Bears have more than a passing resemblance to humans. Especially this bear, who takes pleasure in the little things in life, and, of course, the big things as well. He is generous to a fault, and if we are to take his word for it, a rather clever fellow. But, like many of us, even our bear has days when he feels dreadfully alone Fortunately, he knows exactly what to do about it. Philip Waechter responds to this very human dilemma by creating a wonderful character, drawn with a delicately spare line but informed with great compassion and love.
