語言很幽默，就是有點長

感情挺動人，以大蕭條作為背景還是挺吸引人的，講到瞭鬍佛村等等

故事引人入勝，背景在美國大蕭條時期一個黑人男孩的故事。人物以作者爺爺和姥爺為原型，雖然是小說但卻讓人覺得十分真實。可能為瞭體現年代感和少年的主觀感受，語法略有齣入可以忽略。有2個橋段我都感動得熱淚盈眶，可能因為是媽媽的緣故，會感同身受。美國5-8年級英文閱讀推薦書目。美國課堂讀書聽說都給超多課時課上討論的，應該可以進一步理解作者寫作目的，值得讓孩子們學習。
