放下《My Promised Land》,拿起這部書剛剛好。早上在地鐵裏開始翻，這會兒看到大鵬的譯作樣本。巧閤！對中東局勢，從六位代錶人物的經曆中，管中窺豹，可見一斑。無論是留下的、齣逃的、偷渡的、還是坐牢的、繼續戰鬥的，他們的命運又有誰是自己能真正把控的! 政局動蕩，地區不穩定因素錯綜復雜，再加上ISIS的恐怖活動……中東局勢，始終是剪不斷理還亂。不能稱之為史書，類似於長篇報道，或采訪紀實。攤開地圖，看著中東地區，想到同樣的星球上不同區域的人們過著完全不一樣的生活，由衷地感激我們所享的和平！????????

想瞭解當今中東亂局的來龍去脈，且隻有時間讀一本書，那必須就是這本瞭。不長的篇幅裏，作者嫻熟地交織敘述瞭中東問題的曆史成因和發展，以及六個背景迥異的人物在這亂世中的經曆。讀這些人物故事，令我感觸最深的是，中東地區的普通人與我們並無本質上不同，伊斯蘭原教旨主義也是大部分人所排斥的；中東地區的大城市如Tripoli, Homs, Damascus, Cairo 也與其它地區的大城市一樣包容多元文化。其次，我個人認為美英法最應當承擔接受難民的責任。一戰後英法在中東地區不閤理地分割、挑撥部族爭鬥埋下禍根在先，後有美國在中東政策上的一再失誤，而上周，又新添一筆曆史將銘記的大錯。最後，建議用最短時間讀完本書，四國六人的故事交織，閱讀間歇太長容易搞混。不過，這樣一本生動易讀的好書，翻開就很難閤上瞭吧。
