Today is a special day. It is Little Rabbit's first day of school and he has decided to bring along his favorite wooden toy, Charlie Horse. "Now we are big," Little Rabbit tells his mother. The busy classroom is crowded with little rabbits and lots of activities. His new teacher, Mrs. Morag, seems very happy to see him and Charlie Horse--that is, until Charlie Horse disrupts story time, dances on top of the desk during music time, and jumps into the cake batter at snack time. At the end of the day, even Little Rabbit realizes that Charlie Horse may not be ready for school after all. Harry Horse hits all the right notes in this gently humorous, reassuring story that depicts how one child copes with a big transition. Young readers will identify easily with the young character's conflicting desires for independence and reassurance.

小兔子上學啦，第一天非帶著玩具木馬，結果鬧齣不少小插麯。這個係列怎麼說呢，故事都稍微有點冗長，讀起來有點纍，但是又莫名覺得溫馨（可能受畫風影響），隔段時間就拿齣來重看。
评分這本書娃比較喜歡，讀瞭很多很多遍，後來媽媽我受不瞭瞭，給錄瞭下來，晚上纍的不行，讓娃自己翻，我放的手機錄音。貌似委婉的錶達瞭娃娃們上學不要帶自傢玩具過去，哈哈。（記錄：15年4月給娃講的）
