Marilou says she has a special sense of humour. Her friends see things a little differently: Marilou lies. Big lies and little lies, Marilou laughs while her friends suffer the results of her "jokes." So they devise a challenge: the first person to tell a lie has to wear a big, fake nose. Not surprisingly, Marilou is soon parading around town looking like Pinocchio. But when she tries to impress Freddy Busker, the new kid in class, she finds her "sense of humour"-and her new nose-get in the way. Marilou's Long Nose is the story of a girl who discovers that telling the truth is better and more fun than telling lies.
