介绍油画技法中光和颜色的书，内容还不错，但是如果和其他同类书比起来的话也并没有特别出彩之处。和其他许多关于光和颜色的从 Hue、Saturation 和 Value 的角度来分解的观点不同的是，本书作者坚持颜色就是颜色，不应该分开对待，因为如果你选对了颜色，那么 HSV 自然也都是对的了——话虽然是没错，而且 HSV 分解也并不就是完美的，但是在具体操作上可能还是更容易入手吧。在书里看到的一些比较有用的 tip 一个是随时记住 plane 改变一定对应着颜色改变，反之亦然；另一个是书中建议找一些杂志报纸上的图和照片，直接在上面涂涂画画来做 value 和 shape 简化，感觉是一个很不错的练习，而且现在 digital painting 做这样的练习更方便了。
