And through it all, we come to know a boy who, even as he longs for a wider world, does not want to be led, forever, out of Egypt.

Aciman对细节及心理的文字描述太赞啦！还有超多不经意间让人忍俊不禁的表述！读着读着都感叹，英文也好美！
评分André写得好极了，文笔优美，最重要的是对于亚历山大港—那片土地，消失的土地，不属于「他们」的土地—上一件件历史和故事的描述从而跃然纸上的深厚感情。

评分非常非常美，从一个孩子的角度对革命前的埃及作了很私人又很敏感的描述，这家人太有趣啦
评分文筆非常優美.不知道如何形容,看起來非常非常的舒服.結構非常好.讀起來不累.一個小插曲就是在機場休息時看的後面结束部分,被鄰座的小哥哥搭訕????蘭後就聊了一下????這次第二次因為書籍被外國小哥哥搭訕????
