This book manifests Benjamin's great great great aesthetic talent, and of course his deep sense of historical materialism, which assuredly derives from our great great great spiritual leader: Karl Marx.

虽然没有读完整本。但是The Work of Art in the Age of Its Technological Reproducibility的翻译，完全有别于更常被接触到的译本The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction（近似中文采取之译名：“机械复制”）。掰着指头是第五个年头接触这篇文章了，而老师的书也一直带在身边却抱憾没能力去解读，但接触到这个英译本实属幸运，也推荐所有读者有英语阅读能力的话选择这个版本，然后拿企鹅版本对照。

根据第二稿进行整理，故没有标题，序号按原著先后顺序： 1.原作的即时即地性组成了它的原真性：技术复制能把原作的摹本带到原作本身无法达到的境界。比如唱片可以让人随时随地欣赏，破坏了艺术只能在一个地方一个时间呈现的特殊性。 2.在对艺术作品的机械复制时代，凋谢的东西...

也买了几个版本的本雅明的书了。 这个图文结合的版本确实不错。 翻译的比较有诗意，不故弄玄虚，还有相关插画介绍。 这应该算一本本雅明的合辑书，买了这本。，也省去很多麻烦。

本雅明被称为媒体哲学的先驱。他把现代定义为机械复制的时代，并称其最大特点是“光晕”的没落，随着“光晕”的没落，在欣赏艺术品时大众的视觉印象开始占据主导地位。本雅明认为随着社会以及经济水平的不同艺术也在发生着变化，所以在它看来传统美学在现今没有太大的用处...
