This collection of essays is the first to examine the events of September 11, 2001 from a woman's point of view. Shortly after the terrorist attack on the United States, Marjorie Agosin and Betty Jean Craige asked women writers to think about both the effects and the causes of the attack and to reflect on what might be done to make a safer global community.
