The main goal of "Urban Network" is to improve the equality of access to museum learning for all people. To this end, ten major museums in five metropolitan areas across the U.S. have developed innovative programs and strategies to attract, serve, and engage diverse audiences. In this book, members share effective practices and resources, advancing a national dialog on community engagement. The finished product documents our current understanding, pointing the way to future initiatives and offering practical help to others on the same path.
