It is with admiration and delight that I write the introduction<br >to my friend and colleague s exquisite and long overdue<br >collection of poems reflecting the "post- post-colonial "<br >concerns through the specificity and insight of a (Southern)<br >Sudanese/global writer.<br >With integrity， sensitivity， courage， and delicate balance， Ladu<br >Jada Gubek draws the richness of history and culture together.<br >He brings a refreshing voice to African and African Diaspora<br >literature and knowledge to this emergent post-"post-<br >postcolonial " genre for which I hope we will find an<br >appropriate name such as global African literature. This genre<br > hope， and wisdom， and consciously builds on the Negritude<br > and post-colonial African traditions while at the same time<br > being conscious of the location of these traditions in the global<br > context. For me， this genre signifies the birth of Ayi Kwei<br > &mah s Beautyful Ones.<br ><br ><br >
