开头的那首诗很棒其中的一些故事现在看起来很俗套但放在那个时代很不容易吧总体来看只能称得上是一般读起来有些无趣

符合克式套路：触碰了禁忌知识的主人公在癫狂或恐惧中迎来绝望的结局。当然钱伯斯本质是浪漫派作家，写着写着就变成爱情小说了，The Mask就是很好的例子。
