皮兰德娄（1867～1936）意大利著名小说家、戏剧家、诗人。诺贝尔文学奖得主。一生创作了剧本四十多部、长篇小说七部、短篇小说三百多部、诗集四卷。 皮兰德娄最初的文学创作从写诗开始，但他青年时代模仿卡尔杜奇写出的抒情诗不很成功。在20世纪的最初十年里，他主要写小说，小说创 作使他蜚声文坛。1904年发表的第二部长篇小说《已故的帕斯卡尔》为他赢得了广泛的国际声誉1910年后，他转入戏剧创作，取得了卓越的成就。1934年，获诺贝尔文学奖。
