Alana Gibbs is a happy, single mother until the death of her father seems to throw her life into a downhill spiral. She searches for the courage to fight a battle that threatens to drown her. As if reliving a childhood trauma, she suffocates alone and isolated in a struggle that must be overcome, if not, it would completely destroy her. Taking the last chance she could possibly have to share the world with her son, they set off on a journey of adventure and board a cruise ship bound for exotic wonder.
