Christina Low was an editor of educational publications at the Centre for Development of Teaching and Learning (CDTL), National University of Singapore. Prior to undertaking editorial work at CDTL, she taught English Language at secondary school level, English as a Foreign Language and English for Specific Purposes to Asian adult and teenage learners, and Language and Communication Skills to polytechnic students. She has a BA and an MA from the National University of Singapore, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University. She currently teaches at the Department of Language & Communication, Singapore Polytechnic.
Daphne Pan is an associate professor at the Department of English Language and Literature at the National University of Singapore and the director of CDTL. She obtained her BA (Hons) from the University of Singapore, her MA and PhD from York University, Canada, and an MSc (Ed) from the University of Surrey. Her main areas of interest are the Victorian novel, Shakespeare, and educational development, but she has also taught a variety of courses including one on Professional Writing.
The Write Right Guide: An NUS Writing Guide is written by Christina Low and Daphne Pan, and published by CDTL. Into its fifth print edition, it was originally meant for circulation only to NUS students, but is now available for sale in Singapore.
