By the age of 32, Ronit has left London and transformed her life. There was a time when Esti thought that Ronit’s face contained the world, but now, well, it’s just a face. She’s grateful for that, grateful for the change, because it’s not good to see the world in a face that doesn’t belong to you, that’s always turning away from you.

评分實在是，實在是......沒點耐心根本讀不下去好吧，基本上就沒什麼互動，叫做 猶太簡史與習俗 算瞭
评分作為留下來的那個 Esti卻似乎是更有勇氣的 忽然想起瞭 “在自由意誌之下選擇瞭束縛是不是自由”的命題。從愛情上說 Esti不動聲色地深愛瞭數十年 她說隻需一眼 就能從Ronit臉上就能看到整個世界。但可惜書的重點終究還不是愛情吧。
