以前覺得作者是Ronit，從正統猶太社區離開去紐約，寫小說時還是一個虔誠猶太人，寫完後卻不是瞭。後來看她采訪裏談到她以前愛上一個不愛她的人，然後她於我成瞭Ronit、Esti、Dovid三個人，也許是這樣的經曆纔把他/她們氣憤、暗戀、軟弱的狀態描寫得那麼刻苦銘心吧。電影的改編很不同，但看完電影我覺得我原諒這本書瞭。
