以前不知道陳誌勇寫東西也這麼棒……前半本印象深刻的故事更多：一場盛大的宰魚式、兩歲寶寶視綫裏叫囂著remember me的奔馬、帶著母女橫渡人生黑暗之海的貓咪、會議室裏齊刷刷變為青蛙的高管們……封麵那篇月魚很有些從前科幻小說的味道。狗狗那篇幾張圖連擊：逝去的人與狗在兩岸背對彼此，中間是洶湧流逝的時間。這碾壓級彆的錶現力，一下子看哭瞭。有些故事寫得很詩意，有些晦澀，有些俏皮，也有些像寓言。但模模糊糊覺得這城市灰濛濛、孤零零的，仿佛滅世前後，光亮成瞭奢侈品。

雖然語言和想象和畫都很華麗，情緒很強烈地希望人類趕快滅亡，但是有種被主流話語渲染齣來的人雲亦雲的淺薄感。

太精彩瞭！！文字很感人又真實，插畫瑰麗。我真情實感地看哭瞭。不僅僅是對人與自然間關係的思考，而是與社會有極大關聯。寵物與人的離彆；人類過度侵占自然；集體盲從；單親傢庭；二代及以上移民的自我歸屬感；抑鬱情緒（如一片黑色的海與無盡的浪濤）；孩童的天真；動物福祉（人類奴役馬/將豬關著一輩子不能在泥地裏打滾亂跑/用極其劣質的條件大批量運輸羊）大傢庭成員關係；貧窮的人的生活和思維方式（“我們的生活是對於錢的不停焦慮““富人認為這是自然規律，但不是的，一切都決定於你齣生的地點、皮膚顔色、齣生前就繼承的一大筆債務”）；強迫學生進行大量抄寫的無意義教育；虎爸虎媽式教育etc 一切都關於動物，一切又不隻是動物……作者官網上有更多注解，但他標明瞭不建議讀書之前去看，會很大程度上限製閱讀時個人的理解與思考。

Shaun Tan (born 1974) is the illustrator and author of award-winning children's books. After freelancing for some years from a studio at Mt. Lawley, Tan relocated to Melbourne, Victoria in 2007. Tan was the Illustrator in Residence at the University of Melbourne's Department of Language Literacy and Arts Education for two weeks through an annual Fellowship offered by the May Gibbs Children’s Literature Trust. 2009 World Fantasy Award for Best Artist.

2011 he won his first Oscar in the Category Best Short Animated Film for his work The Lost Thing.
