溫特斯本人的迴憶錄，以退伍軍人的冷靜樸實，敘述自己從參軍到退伍的經曆和感受。《兄弟連》是一幅英雄群像，而《親曆兄弟連》是一麯戰歌獨奏。溫特斯不愧是安布羅斯筆下那個最溫柔的人，他本人的文字，文采斐然又質樸自然，語氣謙卑卻時時流露齣可愛的小得意。讀其書想見其為人。

Major Dick Winters個人的戰爭迴憶錄。因為他一路就是從E連升上去的，所以基本上和兄弟連的故事是一緻的。Embrose寫書用的材料就是Winters提供的，所以有很大一部分重閤。但還有很多Winters自己的故事，自己的體會。看完最大的感受就是，Dick Winters是個聖人，真的是個聖人。嚴於律己，在一綫帶兵打仗，lead by example，不喝酒，謙遜。彆人都齣去玩喝酒的時候，他在研讀戰術書。在英國最放鬆最喜歡的時候是教堂裏。補充瞭一些兄弟連裏沒提到過的細節，還有兄弟連電視劇齣來以後的一些事。最後一章講領導力，很樸實很直觀的經驗談，非常有用。另外看Major Winters自己談好友Nixon，全程捂著狗眼，簡直閃瞎。
