真的太好了。Rutu Modan早期作品竟然可以如此厉害(和Exit Wounds不一样的厉害)，完全命中我对于同类故事的追求。Jamilti短短10页，写实主义下的暴乱图景切片；The Panty Killer 34页，侦破连环谋杀案情境在草率的情感发泄中收场。Rutu Modan总是能够找到合适的节奏(文字上的，图像上的)驾驭各式各样的故事，且自己的腔调永远完好无损，谁都想拥有这份天赋吧！Energy Blockage中叙述者的选用在我看来欠妥；而Your Number One Fan仅仅是题材就让我喜欢得要死了，更别提开场时的闲谈，中间轻巧揉进的以色列内部族群问题，收尾处(又是)绝佳的现代场景了！

Some are darkly fantastical and unsettling, such as the unraveling of a serial-killer murder mystery, or her accounts of an infatuated plastic surgeon and his sanitarium, and a mother back from the dead with dubious healing powers. Others are more attuned to surprising discoveries that shape personal identity, as in the story of a tragic past that lies within a family's theme hotel, or that of a struggling musician who hopes an upcoming gig will be his big break. In "Jamilti," Modan addresses political violence with a suicide bombing that shakes up a day in the lives of a young couple.
