Sal Kapunan, who was born in Philippines, is a visionary artist. In this book, he describes the philosophy that guided his work and provides brief descriptions of his works which are located at his homes in Boone, North Carolina and Cape Coral, Florida. Kapunan says, "What we know about visionary artists has been written by journalists who interviewed them or by art historians and critics who superimposed their own interpretations of the artists' works. This may be the first time that a visionary artist has written about his own creations."
