When Biff arrives in Las Vegas
to fill in for fellow comedian Tiger
Moore. he finds his old friend is now a fresh
corpse. The murderer has left a mocking
message on the wall of the hotel room where
Tiger s body was found: GET OFF TIlE STAGE.
YOU SUCK.

nickname the Heckler, after the term stand-
up comics use for someone who delights in
iaunting performers during their act. Biff
tracks the killer to Hollywood. where he
hooks up with Tiger s friend the hot sitcoln
star Louie Baxter--and the one person who
might have a clue as to who the Heckler is.
Biff finds that years ago Louie and Tiger
stood by as an angry mob brutally beat a
young comedian named Chad Karp almost
to death, scarring his face and crushing his
vocal cords. Is the Heckler really Chad, now
back for revenge? Louie funds Biffs efforts
as an unofficial investigator, trusting that
only another comedian can possibly learn
the truth.

back to Las Vegas and through the north-
west. finding that Chad Karp was !eft a bit-
ter. vengeful shadow. But is he the tteekler?
