Patrici~ Carter lives at "Leeland" in Shepherdstown， West Virginia and<br > commutes to her university teaching in Washington， D.C. Her academic<br > credentials include a Ph.D. in English Literature. She is married and<br > has two daughters and four sons. She and her twin sister were born<br > in Providence， Rhode Island， and with the rest of her family， spent the<br > early years traveling in the United States and the Philippine Islands<br > and China. She and her husband have had many years of living abroad<br > both in Germany and Japan. She taught at the Sidwell Friends School<br > in Washington， D.C. and has been on the Adjunct Faculty at George<br > Washington University， the Catholic University of America， Georgetown<br > University and The American University.<br > Nancy Adams keeps her legal residence in Lewes Beach， Delaware and<br >spends part of each week in Washington， D.C. Her academic creden-<br >tials includes a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. She is married and has one<br >son. She has taught courses and supervised students at the Washington<br >School of psychiatry and is currently a Senior Consultant to The Meyer<br >Treatment Center there. Dr. Adams has been on the Adjunct Faculty<br >at The American University and Georgetown University. She is a<br >psychotherapist and a Fellow ofA. K. Rice Institute.<br >
