果然写得好。读了2章，第一章就抓住了我——讲的是卫城的地质史是怎样变成后来的城市史的。有两点是重要的。（1）在卫城上部，是花岗岩，但就在花岗岩的下部，存在着一层蓄水层，这就是古代雅典人在卫城居住时代里打井取水的水源层；（2）整地的地貌是倾斜的，正好就是雅典卫城走向的方向。这就说明神庙的走势，原本有着自然地貌的依据；第二章，则详细考据了雅典娜的由来，出乎意料之一，她的名字在后，卫城的山头的名字在先；之二，她的早期形象出现在了迈锡尼遗址。。。。
