A thin but eminently readable and no-nonsense book on how to live a full-filling and healthy life - including plenty of advice on how to eat - by a philosopher (a specialist in Descartes). What other dietary book has such chapter titles as Fat, Food, Roughage, Running, Sex, How to Live and How to Die. This last chapter is a jewel. I frequently consult this book. Highly recommended.
