Susan Herbert's innovative and witty feline renderings of famous masterpieces have won her a large admiring public. Her first book was The Cats Gallery of Western Art, in which Frans Hals's Laughing Cavalier, da Vinci's Mona Lisa and Botticelli's Birth of Venus, among many other classics of the world's great museums, were presented with cats serving as models.
