平路，本名路平，颱灣大學心理係畢業，美國愛荷華大學碩士。曾任職美國郵政總署，美國經濟與工程研究公司，為資深統計師。現居國內專事寫作。曾獲聯閤報小說首獎，時報散文獎、劇本獎首獎等。

著有小說集《玉米田之死》、《椿哥》、《五印封緘》、《是誰殺瞭 ×××》、《捕諜人》，評論集《到底是誰聒噪》、《在世界裡遊戲》、《非沙文主義》等。

He dreamed of strengthening China from within, but after a failed attempt at leading an insurrection in 1895, Sun was exiled to Japan. Only in 1916, after the dynasty fell and the new Chinese Republic was established, did he return to his country and assume the role of provisional president.
