一开始是为了找Scruton的美学立场，结果发现是一本好导论，从各种“platitudes”开始介绍，他自己的观点仅仅是以不明显的形式出现在187页以后，大致是所有的审美经验都是rationally founded, 再怎样的主观，it is pleasure in what they value and taste for their true ideals. 而这个true ideal是基于理性的reason和value的。
