In Love and Terror, the second William

of flawed idealism. The situation is as famil-
iar as a recent newscast--the Tel Aviv-
Paris air shuttle has been hijacked by Ger-
man and Arab terrorists. Will Israeli com-

book kept by the principal terrorist, Viktor
X, the characters of Viktor and Gabriele,
for whom love and terrorism are inter-
twined and inseparable, become real and
complex. And in a series of interviews with
a nameless reporter, the lives of three of the
hostages--"the old ones," all disillusioned
by the revolutionary cause they subscribed
to--gradually and movingly unfold.
