There is a top level corporate opening at

the Bergo Drug Company and the most

qualified person is bright, ambitious, articu-

late Rita Brandt. The only roadblock is the

president, a smug male chauvinist, and a

less qualified man gets the job.

Just when she feels crushed by her defeat

she gets a mysterious visitor, a Mr. Morley,

who arrives unannounced, and begins to

talk to her. He looks like a vagrant, and

smokes smelly cigars, and keeps insisting

he wants to help her.

His words are spell-binding, they exhila-

rate Rita and she is drawn into believing he

can help her. She makes no agreement be-

cause she expects a catch somewhere.

Morley hands Rita a floppy computer disk

and leaves. She finds the disc reveals corpo-

rate dishonesty and mismanagement. It s

just what she needs a ticket to the top.

Rita goes all out, changing her lifestyle,

her looks, and her outlook all with re-

newed confidence. Now she s ready to make

her big move. Somehow she realizes that by

accepting the "gift" there is a price to pay.

But the now beautiful and determined Rita

accepts the challenge and starts her climb

up the corporate ladder.
