The Fens are flooding, but as the water rises relentlessly, it isn't just local folk who come to find shelter at Wickit Abbey. Pip the orphan and Perfect, the stone gargoyle meet up with a mysterious stranger - a man with a murky past who has actually heard the ghostly sound of a Witch Bell. Hot on his trail is the Holy Hunter, sniffing out demons and devils and any who have been in contact with witches. By accident, Pip becomes his quarry. Can Perfect, some red ribbons and a handful of pepper save the day? Or will Pip be overcome by the worst danger he has ever faced?
