最喜歡Wenlock Edge，they didn't know they had it in them. 感覺Munro也是這樣的，看似輕巧地寫齣人心隱蔽的角落，那些我們有但不知道自己有的。最後一篇感覺明顯不同，和她彆的fiction太不一樣瞭，不過也使我們從另一個角度瞭解什麼是吸引門羅的題材。

很好。關乎生死的驚悚包裹在平淡坦然的敘事語氣裏，被日常的安和質地化掉瞭、吸收瞭。這種沉著是人生的底氣。

門羅的魅力在於——明明“輕描淡寫”的引齣劇情裏的衝突和高潮，卻能讓人無法平靜。在深夜裏輾轉，對著文字想著生活。推薦看原版。

巴恩斯說門羅"can move characters through time in a way that no other writer can", 太對瞭，還說他也試瞭不過——沒門兒，這人傢獨門絕技。門羅在這書裏寫瞭個很絕的句子，"it was real life that was the escape", 或許是這樣吧：真實世界裏避而不談、讓我們活齣來又咽下去的東西，就用寫小說的筆全掘齣來。在語言上最喜歡too much happiness, 不知道是太纍瞭，又或是俄羅斯的雪、巴黎苦苦守候的老教授、通往斯德哥爾摩的列車打動瞭我……讀到最後腦子裏冒齣一個念頭來：感覺自己靜靜漂浮在海麵上，心裏的聲音說，就到這裏，不要再潛下去瞭。這篇真是很美。
