总体上写的比较客观，立场中立。并且观点的阐述上多是提出各种问题，罗列各种事实与数据后任读者自行分析。但是很多问题过于表面化，并没有对内在实质性问题进一步发觉。总之，这本书让我了解了些印度方面的信息，同时也了解了些欧洲人眼中的中国。
