Lost Classics 26th，與之前讀的幾本失去的經典不同，這本是硬漢派推理，偵探形象塑造的很成功，但推理比較簡單，凶手什麼的基本都能猜齣來，內容也不黃暴（主角總是幾拳KO對手），如果喜歡硬漢派，同時又想有邏輯推理，那這本還是值得一看的。

Hugh Pentecost, the pseudonym of Judson Philips (1903-1989), created one of the most memorable of fictional sleuths in the red-bearded artist, John Jericho.
