书的封底有人评论说此书堪比《国富论》，我认为这个评价太高了。先不谈《国富论》具有的开创性的地位，它本身就包含了很多的思想性。但这本“新国富论”，基本就是经济和历史的结合，没包含多少思想，只是作者把两者结合的比较好，读起来有种新鲜感。而这，也是我推荐一读...

如果说，本书的前28章都是从技术流的角度，通过历史的、辩证的、地理的、文化的方面来分析经济的发展经过及现状，那么本书的最后一章，尤其是最后两段，则说明了发展的内在动力，可谓本书的点睛之笔。懒懒散散，花了近三个月的时间才看完。这是一本值得再看、值得深思的书。
