这本书在大英博物馆gift shop买的，大英博物馆的宝物太多了这本书只是列出了最珍贵最具有代表性的文物，纸质很好，图片清晰，介绍详尽，适合收藏。

仔细读完每一页发现了几个惊艳的文明。埃及自始至终都是喜欢的，顺着罗塞塔石碑的视频又摸到了大英未展出苏美文明的泥板，衰落的阿兹特克帝国，绿松石人面像，阿马拉瓦蒂的佛像雕刻，日本浮世绘，复活节神像，甚至唐摹本的女史箴图。另有斯里兰卡还有小众国家的一些藏品，令人大开眼界。
