我不喜欢她的prose style，很乏味。早期的理论写作，虽然有批判，但是还没学会理论应该是拿来“玩”的，所以没有意思……

非常同意criticism應該試著描繪encounter with the sensuous surface of a work of art本身，但是各種media之間必須要有visual成分更多的才有這個privilege against interpretation嗎？novel也是可以借助於敘述和書本身的material form來resist the itch to interpretation，或者更確切是allegory （想和Tolkien的那篇講allegory的一起讀)

当初买来当做reference翻来翻去，翻到今天总算通读过一遍了，有些篇章重读了几次，每一次在不同的时间看都带来全新的思考。以前比较有感触的是讲戈达尔和布列松，现在比较有感触的是讲施托克豪森和尤内斯库。
