马上庚（Ma Shang-Keng 1940——1983)，中国台湾省人。中国当代著名美籍华人统计物理、凝聚态物理学家。1962年获美国加州大学伯克利分校学士。1966年获加州大学物理学博士。1966年任美国加州大学圣地亚哥分校研究助理。1967年任讲师。1977年后历任副教授，加州大学圣地亚哥分校教授，P.Sloan协会成员，美国物理学会会员。在普林斯顿高等研究所客座研究。从事统计力学，多体问题的研究，相变和临界现象，凝聚态理论的研究。专著有《Modern Theory of Critical Phenomena》（Benjamin/Cummings,1976,是关于相变与临界现象现代理论的权威而经典著作，其第一版已有5次印刷）、《统计力学》（台湾环华出版公司，1982年已有英文译本）、《Statistical Mechanies》（Worid Scientific,Singapore,M.K.Fung 译，1985年）等。在相变与临界现象的研究中有重要成就，新加坡世界科学出版社以其名义出版纪念册《Directions in Con-densed Matter Physics,Memorial Vi.1 in Honor of Ma Shang-Keng》。
