Roderick A. Jones was born June 8, 1962, in Columbia, Tennessee, and raised by his grandmother, Mrs. Irene Davis Jones, in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee. In 1980, he graduated from Butler High School in Louisville, Kentucky, while he and his older brother Charles Jr. were living with their father, Charles W. Jones. Years later, Roderick graduated from the following institutions: U. of K. Jefferson Community College in 1996 with an associateas degree in applied science in commercial photography, and Columbia State Community College in 2005 with an associate of science degree in English. Writing and photography have been hobbies of his for many years. He loves writing because it allows him to enjoy the feelings of freedom and relaxation once he gets into the body of the work. It gives him the opportunity to release his imagination and create an original piece he can be proud of.
