When Samuel first moves to the Arctic, he is rude and unfriendly. But Irniq gives him a chance, and the boys become friends but the boys soon quarrel and drift apart. One day, Irniq finds a trapped whale under the ice, and doesn't know what to do. Luckily, Samuel appears and knows exactly who can help. Will the boys save the whale in time?
