最大问题就是研究censorship但用的都是二手资料，可能这也是海外中国研究的一个坎儿；其次，作者认为艺术市场的兴起可以改变艺术家和政府之间的关系，甚至减少censorship。。。还是过于天真了。

其实是牛津通识系列的《cultural revolution》(richard curt kraus)，但是豆瓣没有这本书，我试图添加也不行。“the cultural revolution serves as a boogeyman to silence protests about a society that still faces severe contradition...against mass participation in public life but ultimately against democracy”.
