具体描述

In this book, Kate Baden Fuller focuses on individual stained glass artists and their unique approaches to their work. Her survey of these contemporary artists features not only their favoured techniques but also their individual philosophies, sources of inspiration and influences. Recent developments in stained glass reflect not only the new types of glass that have been developed in the past 30 years, but also the adoption and use of techniques from other creative disciplines (such as print, and resist and masking), as well as imaginative new uses of traditional techniques such as etching and sandblasting. This highly illustrated book will appeal not only to glass artists but also to anyone interested in glass and indeed in modern design. It provides a unique insight into the thoughts and ideas that produce some of the finest contemporary examples of stained glass.
