三星半。比較私人的迴憶錄。其中有很感人的故事，但大部分是病人自己的。算是easy read，作者的文字很流暢。從一個母親和女性的角度齣發，與以往看到的tough marine感覺都不同。雖然作者一再強調Marine和Navy Corpsman之間的情感，但總覺得比較空。也許是因為作者是有選擇性的在講述。
