The Gossip Girls meets Dreamgirls in this series about a high school foursome and the many day-to-day obstacles they face as they try to survive high school and make their way in the real world. 15-year-old gospel singers Diamond, India, Veronique and Aaliyah put their initials together to become The Divas, and are competing in a nationwide talent search to win a music contract. The daughter of a former model, India is plagued by confidence issues and an eating disorder - trying to prepare for the competition by binging and purging - and risking her chance for fame.
