Glory Years is a celebration of the renaissance started in 2001 by Athletic Director Andy Geiger when he hired Jim Tressel to head the Buckeye football team. Featuring images captured by photographer Jim Davidson, the book covers virtually every key moment of Buckeye football over the past seven seasons, with emphasis on the Michigan series, bowl games, and important contests in and out of the Big Ten Conference, including the Texas, North Carolina State, and Washington series. Fans will recognize plays, such as the "Holy Buckeye" reception at Purdue in 2002, the touchdown run by Ted Ginn Jr. during the 2004 Michigan game as he streaked past the Wolverine sideline, and many more. The book features stunning full-color photographs accompanied by compelling narrative. Ohio State football historian Jack Park supplies the foreword and reporter John Porentas adds season previews and descriptions of important games and moments. In addition, many of the photos are accompanied by captions and sidebars with quotes by the players themselves. They describe the games and plays from their own perspective, giving the reader unique insight into this memorable period of OSU history.
