评分An easy-to-read book written for children but interesting enough for adults. The story unfolds with a misery death of neighour's dog in the night time. It is full of fascinating reflections about rules, people and mathes.
评分書中書-戲中戲這個對應得太完美瞭，想象如果看完書再看劇也一定會被struck到吧。真·大人寫的兒童書，最簡單的連詞，一些平鋪直敘反而非常有趣。書用小孩的視角已經淡化瞭黑暗的一麵，劇其實又更淡化瞭一些。像他最喜歡的夢，他談到人類死亡時的漠不關心，他兩次談到夢想時完全沒有傢人一席之地，反而是殺瞭Wellington的爸爸說"This is more important than anything else"。另外更明顯看到媽媽和他說話時，跟爸爸、Siobhan努力給齣清晰邏輯的說話方式是完全不同的。很喜歡劇裏Siobhan對他說話時讓媽媽也在場。
