About war and revolution. Shklovsky switches his voice back and forth between a participant of war and a witness of war. He constantly complained about the pain he experienced in writing. Who can avoid that after the war? Paragraphs are made up of very crisp and concise sentences, often incoherent, which reflect the disjointed nature of life.
