Cambridge introduced the Pitt Minion style in the 1930s. This is the first NIV Pitt Minion Bible. It uses the Lexicon typeface, carefully chosen for its economical use of space. This is the font used for dictionaries and encyclopaedias because it accommodates a lot of characters in a small space. This means that the book itself is a slim and compact volume, convenient for carrying on the person. Cambridge's NIV Pitt Minion Bibles feature red-letter text for the words of Christ and full cross-references. Extra study features include a concordance and 16 pages of maps. They are printed on India paper and the pages are sewn, not glued, for maximum resilience and durability. This Bible has a ribbon to keep the place and a presentation page.
