This is a story about a girl named Janet, and what her life was like starting her transition when she first became aware enough of gender identity to know that there was something very definitely wrong with what she sees when she looks in the mirror. This story takes us from the time Janet first becomes aware of her sexual identity, through high school and the completion of her transition. There are places that will make you cry and others where you will laugh. Remember that above all, this is just a story and in no way depicts true life. Enjoy the story and I hope that it will enlighten you to the trials that those of us who do suffer with GID (gender identity disorder) go through.
